Avon Street, Temple Quay North, Bristol. BS2 0PS
John Dower House is a Grade II listed building located in the heart of Cheltenham’s conservation area. Originally built as a hotel called Liddell’s Boarding in 1812, its main purpose was to provide accommodation for Cheltenham’s Spa visitors, yet towards the end of the 19th century, it was converted for use as the town’s court and police station.
The restored John Dower House is now complete and proudly sits next to newly built Clarence Gardens which offers modern and complimentary living of one, two and three bedroom apartments for the over 60’s in Cheltenham’s local community.
